Under cover of finding a new pair of shoes for my husband, my eyes stopped on a very Mango similar pair of heels.... It's not my fault, we were in a shoe shop !

As I had missed the train for the Spanish brand much coveted heels, I grabed the bargain.

Same for the tie-dye shorts: sold out !

No problem, I took out my bucket and bleach. And here it is ! (see below).

If I don't want to look like an Eskimo all summer long, I'll have to get used to revealing some parts of my body. In the limit of decency and at least for a visual testimony that these pictures were really taken in "June" !

And for the visual pleasure of my neighbours, busy "gardening"...

Fatigue

Without officially showing signs of reappearance on podiums, the military pattern and its affiliated items seem to impose their signature back on the street.

Whether it's camo tops, jumpers or jackets, the idea is to mix it with casual items without falling into a GI Joe caricature.

Or dress it up with feminine shoes and a quiet blazer.

Yesterday I chose to wear my fatigue trousers, already worn here, and mixed it with a breton light jumper. And my comfy ASOS heels.

Between two raindrops and with the wind helping me being "hair-blown" ...

(I don't know if I can say that, but I'll invent it )

Sometimes life is made of chance for those who can wait.

Yesterday's look was clean and simple for a Sunday.

I narrowly posed under the umbrella ... but prefered the cherry tree for shelter !

PS : Sorry for the bad quality of my pictures but I was really under the rain and grey clouds late in the afternoon. Or is it my camera which needs changing ?! Any tips for a good quality one are welcome !

Panic aboard !

Have you ever had a blank when opening your wardrobe not knowing what to wear ! (while all coat hangers are overloaded ...)

To avoid this anxiety attack there's nothing better than to choose basic clothes.

They usually match easily together and they help you catch up time !

Trends and Fashion are often a question of being ahead of everyone, wearing super cute, unusual pieces before it's even the season and passing on to something else as soon as this wave contaminates the average (wo)man !

Well that's consumerism for me.

Since temperatures outside still allow it, I'll still be enjoying these two trends, for a while...

Days with, Days without

It's really annoying to have to mention the weather all the time. Probably because winter has invited itself longer than expected ! It reminds my last week in Scotland during my University years. After spending a year teaching up in the Stirling region, we had decided with friends to take a trip around the country. On the very first day, we were quite put off, not knowing if we wanted to continue the trip or not. We had experienced "4 seasons in one day".  (Don't misunderstand me, I love Scotland ! I still regularly visit friends over there, and my pleasure is intact, even 20 years later). To some extent this is a wee bit what we have to cope these days, all over Europe, unfortunately...

So that was me again stuck in the garage yesterday ! At least you can call it my natural habitat. I'm not running for fancy places or scenery to take my pictures !
